Far Cry New Dawn: release date, news and rumors

Hot on the heels of Far Cry 5 - which only released in March 2018 - Ubisoft has revealed it's already working on the next entry in the Far Cry series entitled Far Cry New Dawn. The new game was teased in a post-apocalyptic trailer which stated that the worldwide reveal would take place during The Game Awards 2018.
Living up to that promise, the first trailer dropped during the award ceremony giving us our first look at the post-apocalyptic playground and, even more surprisingly, a release date of February 15 2019.
While we only have the one trailer to go off of, New Dawn is set in the world of Far Cry 5 that's been warped by nuclear radiation. That means new weapons, new vehicles and new characters, all of which have been worn down by the new world order after the fallout. Here's what we know so far.
[Warning: Spoilers for Far Cry 5 ahead.]

  • When can I play it? February 15 2019

Far Cry New Dawn rumors

A direct sequel to Far Cry 5?
The upcoming Far Cry seems to take place in a post-apocalyptic setting. If you managed to finish Far Cry 5, then you know this seems pretty familiar. If you got the 'good' ending at the end of Far Cry 5, then Hope County, Montana was destroyed (probably with the rest of the world) by a nuclear explosion.
The teaser trailer for the next game talks about how an explosion caused death and "The flames devoured everything" but eventually "years of rain and howling winds gave way to blue skies and a new world in bloom".
This would suggest the upcoming Far Cry follows either directly on from (or is in the same universe as) Far Cry 5 - most likely years after the nuclear explosion. This would be a first for a Far Cry game: usually, each new entry is a standalone title with a different setting.
GRAFICS OF FARCRY 6
GRAFICS will be amazing in FARCRY 6 as we can tell it from teaser and there will be new action and fighting skills will be there

PS5: what's the latest PlayStation 5 news and when will Sony release it?

Sony PlayStation has had a great year. In fact, let's be honest, the console giants have had a pretty fantastic console generation, topped off with a fantastic Game Awards 2018 win for God of War most recently. However, Sony is now looking at 2018 in the rear view mirror and have a rather exciting 2019 on the horizon. Assuming all those rumours we've heard over the past few months ring true, we could see the likes of Shawn Layden and co announcing the companies next console, the PlayStation 5 (presumably shortened to PS5). And when Sony do make that all-important console announcement there will be no shortage of important questions for the technology giant to answer. How much will the PS5 cost? Will the PS5 be backwards compatible? What games will the PS5 launch with? This is just three but there will be so many more questions that consumers will be begging to have answered. But there's one very important change from the existing PS4 which nobody seems t...
