Hot on the heels of Far Cry 5 - which only released in March 2018 - Ubisoft has revealed it's already working on the next entry in the Far Cry series entitled Far Cry New Dawn. The new game was teased in a post-apocalyptic trailer which stated that the worldwide reveal would take place during The Game Awards 2018. Living up to that promise, the first trailer dropped during the award ceremony giving us our first look at the post-apocalyptic playground and, even more surprisingly, a release date of February 15 2019.  While we only have the one trailer to go off of, New Dawn is set in the world of Far Cry 5 that's been warped by nuclear radiation. Sony PlayStation has had a great year. In fact, let's be honest, the console giants have had a pretty fantastic console generation, topped off with a fantastic Game Awards 2018 win for God of War most recently. However, Sony is now looking at 2018 in the rear view mirror and have a rather exciting 2019 on the horizon. Assuming all those rumours we've heard over the past few months ring true, we could see the likes of Shawn Layden and co announcing the companies next console, the PlayStation 5 (presumably shortened to PS5). And when Sony do make that all-important console announcement there will be no shortage of important questions for the technology giant to answer. How much will the PS5 cost? Mortal Kombat 11  It's official,  Mortal Kombat 11  is scheduled to launch on April 23 for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. We don't know much about it yet aside from the game's retail description and the above trailer featuring Scorpion fighting Raiden. NetherRealm Studios is planning to pull back the curtain further in a reveal event on January 17. We do know it will have a roster filled with new and returning fighters, and it's based on a new graphics engine "showcasing every skull-shattering, eye-popping moment." Also touted are Custom Character Variations, which will give players "unprecedented control to customize the fighters and make them your own." Whether you're a longtime fan of the series or you simply want to give this one a try, you might be wondering what you get for pre-ordering.
